The VDR is not supported as of April 1, 2011. Components used to manufacturer the VDR are out of production and can not be obtained to make repairs. VDR will support vehicles 1996 through 2012 model years. 2013 model year vehicles will be supported with a recording device currently being investigated.

Use the troubleshooting section of the user manual to diagnosis cable issues, which can be obtained through Rotunda. The internal battery can be obtained through Batteries Plus using part number "CR2477N".

The existing battery is siliconed in place to provide vibration resistance. You will need to trim the silicone to remove and replace the battery.
